Heaven is one of the most popular gay clubs in the world. Nestled under the Charing Cross train station in London, Heaven is a beacon for the LGBTQ+ community not only in London, but also globally. I wanted to redesign the Heaven identity to look more cohesive, vibrant, and unique to other gay clubs out there. My vision for this was to use avant garde imagery paired with intense photo editing to give the viewer a sense of place, as if they were there. The new slogan for Heaven would be “You Deserve to be Here,” a strong message of hope that tells the viewer that they not only belong in a space like Heaven but they are welcome here. With all of this, I also felt it was important to spread safety to the club patrons, so condoms were also designed with the possibility to be sold and distributed to the club patrons.
