Redesign of JP3 by Junglepussy. This project was inspired by the Avant Garde movement in graphic design, looking deeper into the designs of Russian constructivism and futurism. I was particularly inspired by the poetic and expressive forms of Alexander Rodchenko and the color pallete of Dada graphic design. The philosophy of freedom in design, a rejection of limitations, and the ultimate creative expression of forms in typography motivated me to create a concept that embraced all of this reimagined into the 21st century.Junglepussy’s brilliant third album explores what it means to be a black woman in America and I wanted to continue that same exploration in a typographic album pacakage that includes the cover itself, inner sleve, and vinyl sticker.
